Marie Wenger studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg with a focus on criminal social control (criminology, juvenile criminal law, correctional and penal enforcement law). After her First State Examination, she worked as a research assistant at a chair for criminology and white-collar criminal law.
She completed her legal clerkship—also in Freiburg—with a focus on criminal law. She gained practical experience at a law firm specializing in juvenile criminal law and at the Freiburg Public Prosecutor’s Office, among others.
Since 2025, Marie Wenger has been working as an attorney at Stirnweiss Brenner Rechtsanwälte in Stuttgart. Her particular interest lies in criminal law and criminal procedure law, especially questions of sentencing, juvenile criminal law, and correctional law.
