Official Data Retrieval and Legal Assessment

Deletion of Unlawful or Outdated Entries

In practice, it regularly becomes apparent that personal data is not deleted in a timely manner. When data retrieval and deletion requests are submitted simultaneously, authorities often respond that the relevant entries have “just” been deleted, even though deletion should have occurred legally much earlier.
