A verdict has been reached in the trial of an 85-year-old driver involved in an accident in Bad Säckingen. The court sentenced the man to a two-year suspended prison sentence. Nationwide, media outlets, including BILD, Badische Zeitung, Focus, and Stuttgarter Nachrichten, are quoting from the plea made by attorney Mathias Brenner, who represented the only son of the deceased woman, before the Bad Säckingen District Court.
