Lay Assessor Court dismisses proceedings

A 21-year-old apprentice had to answer to charges of sexual assault before the Juvenile Lay Assessor Court in Waiblingen, as reported by the Backnanger Kreiszeitung.

Ultimately, the court dropped the charge of sexual assault and dismissed the proceedings.

“Objectively, not much happened,” the judge stated, underscoring the argument made by defense attorney Lisanne Bühler: the man had not used force. The court found that the elements of sexual assault were not met.
