Because she was inadvertently given a medication too frequently after a fractured neck of femur, a patient died at Tübingen University Hospital. The resident physician charged as a result on suspicion of negligent homicide was defended by attorney-at-law Sigmund. The statement submitted on behalf of his client not only led to a provisional discontinuation of the court proceedings, but also to the resumption of investigations by the Tübingen Public Prosecutor’s Office. Schwäbisches Tagblatt reported repeatedly.
