On August 11, 2024, echo24.de reported the arrest of seven suspected members of rival drug gangs in the Heilbronn area. Police conducted several apartment searches on August 5 and 6 following an armed robbery in Bad Friedrichshall-Kochendorf on June 26. The perpetrators allegedly seized several kilograms of marijuana worth approximately €25,000. Subsequently, the original owners of the stolen narcotics planned a violent abduction to recover the marijuana. However, police were able to thwart these plans and arrested the suspects.
