Waiblingen: Pensioner Fined 6000 Euros for a Life Lost

Waiblingen, Baden-Württemberg – The Waiblingen District Court yesterday delivered a verdict in the case of a tragic collision near Winnenden on November 10, 2022. Rosemarie W., a 79-year-old pensioner, was sentenced to a fine of 6000 Euros for negligent homicide.

Rosemarie W. had overlooked a motorcyclist while turning, who later died from the consequences of the accident. In court, she expressed remorse. The judge considered her long history of safe driving and her prompt contact with the victim’s relatives.

The BILD newspaper reported on the indictment and the trial at the Waiblingen District Court, where attorney Mathias Brenner is acting as defense counsel.
