On November 6, 2024, the Stuttgarter Zeitung reported on the start of the trial at the Stuttgart Regional Court against a 60-year-old man accused of sexually abusing his niece over several years. The public prosecutor’s office accuses the defendant of abusing the victim, who was a minor at the time, in numerous instances between 2015 and 2020. The trial is intended to clarify the extent to which the acts took place and what sentence is appropriate.
