In the appeal proceedings for fraud and perjury against a 61-year-old music and event manager from Ermstal, the Tübingen Regional Court reduced the sentence by almost half of what the Reutlingen District Court had imposed in October 2019: He was now given a total sentence of two years, which could still be suspended on probation.
Attorney Martin Stirnweiss had previously criticized the “sloppy” investigative work and argued for a maximum sentence of seven months, suspended on probation.
