At the Heilbronn Regional Court, one of two rival drug groups from the Heilbronn district was sentenced to several years’ imprisonment for an armed robbery in Bad Friedrichshall. Three men broke into the apartment of a rival dealer in June 2023 wearing balaclavas and armed with an axe, pepper spray, and a knife, seizing approximately eight kilograms of marijuana and hashish. The main defendant was sentenced to five years and eight months’ imprisonment, while another received a three-year youth sentence.
Particularly noteworthy: Defense attorney Mathias Brenner, partner at the law firm Stirnweiss | Brenner, may have made legal history in these proceedings. For his client—despite five additional cases of trafficking in medicinal products—he achieved a sensationally lenient total prison sentence of only four years through the implementation of nine victim-offender mediations with the robbery victims. These strategically orchestrated mediations led to a significant reduction in the sentencing framework, as confirmed by court spokesperson Stefanie Morgenstern.
The parallel trial against the rival group is ongoing. It involves, among other things, drug trafficking, weapons possession, and a planned kidnapping with torture fantasies.
