This is the case when a complaint is filed against another person, even though the person filing the complaint is aware that this is not true.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/stgb\/__164.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a7 164 StGB<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a false accusation toward an official, an authority, or in public is punishable. A prerequisite for criminal liability is that the acting person acts <\/span><b>intentionally<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or against better knowledge.
